Springfield Area Food Shelf is currently looking to fill a volunteer coordinator position.  You would be a member of the board but not a voting member.   Meetings are held every other month and if you cannot attend you may send a report to the meeting that will be shared with the board.  Your biggest responsibility is to put out the monthly work schedule and provide it to the paper so it can be published each week.  You also get the schedule to the volunteers who are working.  This is a position that can be done from your home if you have your own computer.  The food shelf also has their own computers and we may be able to work something out to use that for the schedule.  It is whatever works for the person doing the position.  You would be trained to do the  position by Jan Krieg or Jan Schwanke, Food Shelf Manager.  If you are interested, please contact the Springfield Area Food Shelf.  2 service days each week, which is Tuesday evening and Thursday morning.  No holidays.  No paid positions.  ALL VOLUNTEERS!
