Community Walks will be held every Monday evening, weather permitting. Meet at the tennis courts in Riverside Park at 7pm. There will be Honorary Captains each week. On Monday, August 24th, the Honorary Captains will be Sanborn Manufacturing Company employees and their families. Everyone is welcome to come and walk each week. These walks are being promoted to help create healthy habits for Springfield residents. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water along to drink. The trail system will be utilized for these walks. You can walk whatever distance is comfortable for you.
