Farmward Cooperative is seeking candidates to perform a variety of work during Harvest. Must be able to work up to 7 days a week, averaging 12-14 hour days from Mid-Sept through Nov. (weather will dictate longevity.) Must have a good driving record and a history of being reliable with good attendance. Driving positions require a Class A CDL with tanker/hazmat endorsements. Pay will range from $15.00 up to $20.00 with overtime after 40 hours a week.

Positions available include:

  • Tractor Operator performing application of Anhydrous Ammonia.
  • Pickup Truck delivery of Anhydrous Ammonia to producers and custom operators.
  • CDL licensed Semi-Truck Operators for delivery of dry & liquid fertilizer to producers and wholesale customers.
  • Owner Operators– trailers provided. Semi- tractor with wet kit and operators needed.
  • Scale Operator– take samples of incoming grain and process tickets
  • Grain Handlers– assist with loading/unloading trucks
  • General laborers needed to assist with a variety of tasks including loading liquid fertilizer, and work in seed & chemical warehouses. Class B license a plus for this position.

Skilled Nursing:

  • FT RN Staff Development & Safety Director: As part of the nursing administration team; plans, organizes and directs educational and safety activities for long term care personnel and facility including oversight of safety and risk management functions.  Establishes goals and objectives for staff development including orientation and continued education.  Plans and implements research in educational programs, and quality initiatives.  Exempt Leadership Level position providing direction, support, and evaluation of nursing staff, including on-call rotation.
  • FT CNA Openings: 12-hour AM and PM shifts (day 5 am to 5 pm and night 5 pm – 5 am). Positions work  7 days per 14 day pay period, including every other 3-day weekend off and e/o holiday.
  • FT RN PM Shift:  12-hour PM shifts (5 pm – 5 am).  Working third weekend.
  • FT Activity Assistant to assist with resident programs addressing educational, leisure, social, spiritual and physical needs. Successful candidates will be energetic, team-oriented, flexible and enjoy working with the elderly. Previous nursing home/activities experience a plus. Hours will vary, but typically M-F Days.   • FT Dietary Openings.  Varied hours working day & evening shift at St. John’s and Hospital locations. Must be available every other weekend and every other holiday.
  • PT Dietary.  High school students are encouraged to apply.  Must be 16 years old.

Facility Operations/Housekeeping:

  • FT in Plant Operations.  Dayshift, occasional weekends and on-call rotation.  Position performs all general maintenance/housekeeping duties and light mechanical work through St. John’s Circle of Care campus.

Maples / Vista Ridge:

  • FT AM and PM Care Attendants.  12 hour shifts – 6:30 to 6:30.  Previous direct care experience required.  Assignments include tasks at the Maples and Vista Ridge.
  • PT Care Attendants.  Evening short shift 5 pm – 8 pm.  Previous direct care experience required.  Additional hours may be available for on-call and fill-in coverage as needed.


  • St. John’s Grandkids is hiring FT, PT and on-call substitute teachers.  Must be 18 years of age.  Previous childcare experience preferred.

Home Care:

  • Home Care Services RN.  Individual to provide Nursing Services in housing-with-services or private home setting.  Individual will supervise or monitor unlicensed Staff Members in the course of their duties, assist with Medication Management Services, and assist with coordination of communication with Medical Providers and Family Members.  Individual will participate in On-Call assignments on rotation basis with other nurses.  Previous Home Care experience preferred.
